Aether to Launch $100M Fund for AI Development on Avalanche

Aether, a decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) project, has announced a strategic partnership with the Avalanche Foundation. The collaboration introduces a $100 million ecosystem fund aimed at accelerating AI development within the Avalanche network.

This initiative aligns with Avalanche’s InfraBUIDL() program, designed to support AI-driven blockchain applications and expand the adoption of decentralized computing.

By leveraging Aether’s GPU resources, AI developers building on Avalanche will gain access to decentralized compute power. The fund is designed to onboard AI-focused projects into the Avalanche ecosystem, fast-track promising ventures, and integrate them into the broader community.

As part of the strategic partnership, Aether joins the InfraBUIDL AI Committee to help select and support AI projects within the Avalanche ecosystem. The initiative aims to establish Avalanche as a leading hub for blockchain-powered AI applications, competing with Solana and Ethereum, which have already seen significant AI adoption.
